backlight4you started 1995 with the worldwide first backlight replacement kits for the legendary handheld PC ATARI Portfolio. It was followed by some more backlight replacement kits for palmtops from HP and for the famous MessagePad Newton 2000 from Apple.

Our dedicated ambition is to offer replacements for defective backlights.
To accomplish this purpose we added in 2002 CCFLs into our sales program and expanded our field of operation, constantly.
CCFLs for general and special illumination purposes crystallized as another focal point.
